Tooling Services
Tool Design: We begin with the strip layout to minimize material usage and tool size. We review the strip layout out with you in person for changes and approvals. Next we design the tooling and again review it with you for changes and approval.
Tool Build: We keep you abreast of all phases of the tool build, informing you of status, problems that may arise and key issues. We send you the first offs along with CMM reports of the parts.
Home Press Run Off: We will be present for the home press run off to answer any questions or handle any issues that may arise.
In addition you will get the final tool designs, including cutter paths and other documentation for your tooling.
We are also able to provide our customers with excellent check fixtures and gauges meeting your specifications, at much lower costs.
Tryout: After finishing the tool we do a run off to insure it is capable and production ready. CMM layouts are again completed to verify that the part is in spec and capability studies are conducted. It is desired the customer be present for a final buyoff. Not until the tool passes all requirements is it released for shipment.
Shipping: After a satisfactory buy off by the customer we ship the tool to you door, handling all shipping and documentation. An option available is that the tool is sent to our partner die facility in the US for customer buyoff.
